The name reverse engineering can create a bit of confusion in many people's mind. When you analyze something to understand how it works and how the experts made it to work, is called reverse engineering. There are many old aged machines which need to be rebuilt. These reverse engineering can help us a lot to understand how these machine were built 3-4 decades ago, and they were supposed to work. After getting the detail reports, the experts can then start rebuilding these machines all over again. To accomplish these tasks successfully, you need to use laser scanning technology. It will capture the frame and then demonstrate all the functionalities in 3D virtual world. That is why many companies are using these techniques to make things easier for them. Though, you need to be cautious because it may happen that the result produced in 3D laser scanning is not 100% correct, that is why you need to test the whole thing and then start working in them.
3D animations have also become hugely famous. You can use these technologies to make 3D animations. But for that you first need to think about targeted audiences and then start working on that. 3D virtual world is interesting and can make you see many things which you were not able to see physically. Many companies are utilizing these features, especially those who work on GIS or digitized maps. 3D scanner, photogrammetry and reverse engineering have changed the definition of maps and digitized photographs. If the progress continues at this rate, soon we will touch some new sky of success.
