Hi my name is Wayne, and I have had a lot of experience with the air tool industry, and in my experiences as working as an air tool repair man for the past 10 years I can only recommend the tools I have worked on, which very from all different types of tools, for example Snap-On, koken, Gyson, shinanio, Ingersoll-Rand, uryu, toku, just to list a few.

I particular like there Ingersoll-Rand tools that have to offer and they are nearly at there cost price not to sure they are making to much money out of the sales but hey ill take it if the money goes back into my pocket, so if you are a young person looking to buy tools you carnet go passed this tool i am very impressed with it's performance, price and parts availability which is very important.

Out of choice i like the Ingersoll-Rand 1/2 2131 and the 3/4 2141 it is a very robust tool and it will take a hammering, when you either use it in the industrial field or the auto industry it is a very multi purpose tool either for the trady or just the handy repair man very well priced.

My 2nd choose would be snap on, needless to say it has it's pro's and cons but if you live in Australia where i live parts from snap on are hard to come by you have to wait for 10 to 12 weeks to get anything, the customer support is very slack indeed and if you haven't got a distributor in your area well that's just to bad because snap on in the states wont help out they always tell you to go to the distributor and you carnet deal direct with snap on themselves, if any one out there no's of a way around this your input will be very match appreciated in deed.

I don't like the new snap on 3/4″ impact gun due to them failing all the time due to the rotor seizing up and not hammering to it's full capacity i have seen a few of these guns returned back to the distributor and repaired under warranty, but then you got the down time of the gun getting repaired I can take up to 4-6 months to gut the repaired gun back in my opinion this is not good because you buy this type of tool to use not to sit in the repair shop.
