The Biodiesel Downside NOx! Toxic exhaust emissions and foreign oil dependency are the major driving forces behind the increased production of biodiesel. Compared to mineral diesel biodiesel produces less toxic pollutants such as PM, CO, and THC. The US Environmental Protection Agency has reported that the use of biodiesel in as little as a 20% blend (B20) with mineral diesel increases NOx emissions by as much as 2% over the already high levels released by mineral diesel raising the environmental concerns the world over.

Our interest in advancing the use of biodiesel both as a blend with mineral diesel or as a stand alone fuel (B100) and the challenge presented by the increase in NOx emissions has led us to improve our Texas Gold Diesel Fuel Treatment, an additive that will help to eliminate NOx emissions from mineral diesel and biodiesel blends as well B100 biodiesel.

Texas Gold now utilizes biodiesel created from trap grease chemically known as a Methyl Ester (oleochemical) as its carrier while utilizing our CCT (Complete Combustion Technology) proprietary formulation, both biodegradable and nontoxic, just like biodiesel.

In addition to the benefits associated with the reduction of NOx, formulating the new Texas Gold with biodiesel replaces the lubricity loss created by the use of the new Ultra Low Sulfur Diesels for over the road vehicles.

Mineral Diesel/Biodiesel!

Using Texas Gold Diesel Fuel Treatment will provide the distinct advantage of its capability for treating mineral diesel as well biodiesel with the one additive. While 1 of the new Texas Gold Diesel Fuel Treatment will provide all the benefits required for reduced exhaust emissions, and improved fuel performance the user will require only 1 ounce to 20 gallons of mineral diesel while using 1.5 to ounces to 20 gallons when using a B20 (80% mineral diesel and 20% biodiesel) blend to eliminate the NOx increase, users of B100 (100% biodiesel) will only need to use 1 ounce to 10 gallons of biodiesel to eliminate NOx. All users can expect a minimum increase of 10% - 12% in fuel efficiency by way of increased mileage as a result of a more complete combustion.

How to use the new Texas Gold?

Texas Gold can be easily combined with mineral diesel, B20 blend or B100 biodiesel at distribution centers or terminals, it can be proportionately poured into the fuel at the pump or it can even be splash blended into storage tanks.
